ROLE: DIRECTOR/ WRITER
I pitched and sold this concept to professional soccer team New York Cosmos. They hold an annual tournament in New York where all teams represent their country. It is basically a mini World Cup in New York. played over 3 weeks. The tournament brings in high talent and sometimes former or current pros. I wanted to capture the amazing stories of this tournament through different players, countries and rivalries. One particular rivalry was the matchup between the English and Scottish teams.
RESULTS:
The story was featured on the Cosmos main website. The film was meant with a lot of love and shared socially throughout much of the soccer community. It made local blogs and was played in a local Scottish pub in New York.
